Maitland Soccer Club

Mission

The Maitland Soccer Club (MSC) is a Not-For-Profit Organization dedicated to the development of youth soccer in Central Florida. The Club's vision is to develop players who play soccer well and grow as individuals and teammates inside a supportive community. Through proper instruction, training, and encouragement, Maitland Soccer Club is coaching players to be champions with character, both on and off the field.

Maitland Soccer Club is dedicated to developing players, first in character, then teamwork, skill, and ability. Winning is important and encouraged, however, player development (character-team and individual) is most important. Winning is accomplished by emphasis on character, team, and individual development through coaching leadership, proper skill, team instruction at practice, and by giving players the opportunity to put it into play at games.

In 2015, Maitland Soccer Club partnered with Global Premier Soccer Florida to install a new Executive Director, which was then supplemented in fall 2016 with additional administrative staff and full time coaches. The goal is to create a positive soccer environment for everyone who comes to the club and to offer a development pathway from a player's very first touches of the ball all the way to the highest possible level.
